Karrington Green

Institution: Tennessee State University in Nashville

Karrington Green will graduate from Tennessee State University in Nashville this spring, earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. She then plans to pursue a master’s degree, as she aspires to follow her grandmother’s footsteps and become a nurse anesthetist. Karrington’s ultimate goal is to provide equitable, accessible, and affordable healthcare to low-income African Americans from all walks of life, a mission inspired by her grandmother’s service. In addition to her academic pursuits, Karrington is an active member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and the Organization for Black Struggle.

In her free time, she enjoys exercising, shopping, spending time with friends, and watching documentaries.
