Bulenda Shayo

Bulenda is currently a junior at Harris-Stowe State University and is pursuing a career in the medical field. Bulenda has been in the US for six years and was born in the North Kivu Province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. As the youngest of five children, she was cared for by various people and developed a need to take care of others in return. She aspires to be a plastic surgeon because she enjoys seeing people happy and feeling good about themselves. Aside from focusing on her career goals, in her free time, she enjoys listening to music and watching movies.
