ASSURE fellows will have lunch and have an opportunity to interact with the speaker (Claudia Moreno, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Physiology and Biophysics, University of Washington School of Medicine) in a small roundtable setting. The speaker will provide a general background on who they are, how they decided to pursue a career in research, and what their journey has looked like from undergraduate to their current position. They will provide a broad view of the pursuits and questions their labs are tackling. This interaction will only be accessible to ASSURE scholars, providing an opportunity to openly converse with the invitee.
