During the first section, scholars will have lunch and interact with the speaker in an open table setting. The Seminar speaker will provide a general background on who they are, what made their mind on pursuing a career in academia, and their journey from undergraduate to their current position as Principal Investigator. They will provide a broad view of the pursuits and questions their labs are tackling. This interaction will only be accessible to ASSURE scholars, providing an opportunity to openly converse with the invitee.
