ASSURE fellows will have lunch and have an opportunity to interact with the speaker (Henry Colecraft, PhD, John C. Dalton Professor and Associate Vice Chair in the Department of Physiology and Cellular Biophysics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center) in a small roundtable setting. The speaker will provide a general background on who they are, how they decided to pursue a career in research, and what their journey has looked like from undergraduate to their current position. They will provide a broad view of the pursuits and questions their labs are tackling. This interaction will only be accessible to ASSURE scholars, providing an opportunity to openly converse with the invitee.
