These talks will be held together with ENDURE students and will allow you to get an overview of various preclinical research work from WashU professors. You will also be able to network with other summer scholars participating in the ENDURE program. Lunch will be provided.

Ream Al-Hasani, PhD, Assistant Professor, Center for Clinical Pharmacology, University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy, and Washington University School of Medicine
Dr. Al-Hasani studies the neurological conditions that lead to addiction as well as how the brain responds to negative experiences, such as pain or stress. She and her collaborators focus on the kappa opioid receptor system, a promising target for non-addictive pain management.
