June 14, 2021
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
CSRB 4th floor seminar room, 4939 Childrens Pl, St. Louis, MO 63110

This workshop series will provide an introduction into writing a scientific proposal. Ideally you will focus your proposal on a project that is similar to the work your present lab is conducting, or a topic you find interesting. For this exercise will be using the NSF proposal as a template (see: https:// drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/189a4zSxoEE-ddigR5kiCwKev6NoN43xs)

Instructor: Dr. John Del Rosario
Coming up with a clear question is the first step to writing a clear grant. In this workshop, we will focus on identifying a major gap (question) in your research area of interest and work to formulate two concise sub-questions (specific aims) whose answers will fill this overall gap.
